Purpose

The primary purpose of fado.co.uk is to promote and celebrate fado.

A complementary purpose is to inform and reflect on Portugal:  country, culture and history.

Money

With the exception of a hypothetical sale of the website or domain name, fado.co.uk is non-profit-making.  It does take time and expense to develop and maintain - the time we give freely; any income is used towards offsetting the expenses.  If this status changes, it will be announced here and on the front page.
